State Senator Maria Elena Durazo visited the Industrial District BID last quarter and accepted our invitation to return for a walk through the district. On September 30, Durazo joined the BID Board of Directors on a tour where she observed the typical bustling morning activity of our businesses amidst the squalor and tragic scenes of individuals living in the streets. Durazo is a candidate for L.A. County Supervisor of the First District, which encompasses all of Downtown including our Industrial District.
